Hiring the high top automatic from Fjord Campers was one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. A lot of thought and experience has been put into the van setup, you can tell it’s truly built by someone who lives to travel Norway. The lithium battery, diesel heater, inverter, fridge, storage, bedding and cooking facilities are all great. The van is also narrow enough to make parking and driving on Norway’s narrow roads easy. The greeting and communication with Toma was also fantastic, you truly feel cared for, not just another customer. Go ahead and book, you won’t regret it.

Rented a mini automatic for two weeks. Couldn't find better equipment for our 2 weeks journey across Norway (more than 3000km). It has literally everything one needs during a trip and is surprisingly fun to drive. The bed was comfortable, space for luggage was enough too. Can't wait for our next ride with fjordcampers!

We hired the mini automatic for 6 days and it was perfect. Much more spacious than I was thinking from such a small van. A great & more affordable option to explore Norway! There are plenty of spots to pull over and free camp in Norway and with this van set up you have everything you need. Fjord Campers were very helpful with suggestions on our trip and were flexible when returning the van so that we avoided stress with our flights

We've spend 9 days in this beautiful country and rent the mini van for 8 days. All was perfect, the person at the drop in was very kind and gave us lot of usefull information. the drop off was very simple.

The van was basic but that was the goal even though it was very well equipped.

I highly recommand if you want to explore Norway in a van !

We had such a fantastic experience renting from Fjord Campers for our Norway adventure! The camper van was one of our favorite aspects of the trip. It was cozy, aesthetic, very practical, and we had everything we needed. We would consistently look around at other camper vans at the camp sites we stayed at and thought, “Ours is the nicest!” We were honestly so sad to return it at the end of our trip. I highly recommend Fjord Campers! Toma was very helpful and explained everything in detail at our van pick up (located close to airport). We rented the High Roof van and it was very clean, comfortable, and perfect our 2 week road trip around Norway. The van had many features and was built with attention to detail (parking cameras, heating system, electricity, storage areas, etc) which made our trip comfortable and smooth. We absolutely love the design of the van as it was super cozy and practical! Thank you for an awesome camping experience and we loved our time in Norway 😊

I rented a camper from them recently. This had been one of the best travel experiences of my life. We stopped and camped at some of the most scenic spots and truly enjoyed the beauty of Norway. Toma and her team is fantastic. I am sad that I couldn’t personally meet her. However, they ensured that the camper was clean and was delivered at the promised time. She assisted me with all my questions before hire. We got stuck with road closure and were getting late to hand the camber over - she sent her teammate to pick up the camper directly from the airport. Kudos to you Toma and Fjord Campers.

Booked the VW Caddy (which was all that was available in Bergen, mid summer with only 1 day notice lol). Having rented small and medium sized campers before, we thought this was going to be a real cram. But it was actually perfect in so many ways: compact was great for the narrow windy roads in the mountains, the layout was very functional and had ample space for luggage, there were storage spots for all your items, an inverter for 230V mains charging, dimmable touch lights with USB ports, twin gas cooker, water with small electric pump, etc. Very thoughtfully designed, maximizing and utilising every bit of space. Loved the food pantry idea at the camper office where you can take food from previous campers (rather than it going to landfill). Ferry crossing were a breeze with the automated payment (literally drive on, drive off, no interaction). The landscape is absolutely breathtaking and camping spots are very easy to find. Would definitely pick these guys when coming to Bergen again. Hope it expands into a franchise in other Norwegian cities! Thank you!
