Wir waren für eine Nacht in Andenes. Freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Erfreulicherweise erhielten wir ein renoviertes Zimmer, welches unsere Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Sauber, neu, schön eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Hervorzuheben ist ebenfalls das Frühstück, welches 10/10 Punkte verdient hat, bei diesem Preis wäre jedoch zu erwarten, dass das schmutzige Geschirr abgeräumt wird.

The hotel is in the middle of Andenes, 5-10 minutes walk to the shops and lighthouse and about 15 minutes walk to the airport. The facilities were very good and breakfast had a variety of selection, including smoothies and there was complimentary coffee and tea on offer available at the reception area. The staff were friendly, guided me and answered all my questions. I had a great experience especially with the young woman at reception, who was particularly helpful and did not want me not to miss my flight, so with the help of another member of staff, who was also extremely helpful, I was driven to the airport in a delivery(?) mini van! Amazing customer service that made my day and stay there! I hope to return some day.

The town Andenes is more known for Northern Light tours, which means it’s essentially a ghost town if you are visiting in the summer. This is one of 2 hotels owned by the same chain on the Main Street, and has older rooms with a decent breakfast. Many rooms face unpaved parking areas, and there was construction outside during our stay which led to very loud noises in the AM. The front desk doubles as a bar, and they serve a simple restaurant with pancakes, fried eggs, and cold cuts. They did offer some pizza for dinner if you could not find a table at the restaurant next door, but overall it has the feel of a Howard Johnson in the US.

Le stanze sono di dimensioni medio-grandi, ben organizzate e dotate di tutto il necessario: comoda poltrona, macchinetta del caffè e bollitore elettrico, scrivania e una grande finestra con vista mare.
Il bagno è spazioso e dispone di una doccia ampia, anche se ho trovato un po’ scomoda l’assenza di prese elettriche all’interno.

La colazione è abbastanza varia, con un’ottima scelta di opzioni salate come bacon, uova, wurstel e salmone. Non mancano anche alternative dolci come frutta fresca, marmellate e pancakes.
Da migliorare l’organizzazione: al nostro arrivo, a causa di un problema tecnico, non è stato possibile effettuare subito il check-in e abbiamo dovuto tornare dopo circa un’ora.

La nostra camera era spaziose, pulita e dotate di un letto molto comodo. Non dista molto dal centro di Andenes ed è vicino al porto, al faro e al museo polare. La colazione è a buffet di buona qualità.|Il Thon Partner Hotel Andrikken rappresenta una scelta pratica per chi desidera esplorare Andenes e le sue attrazioni naturali.

Vi har her bare noen korte nattetimer i forbindelse med bryllup og rakk ikke oppleve hotellet ordentlig, men rommene opplevdes som flotte og rene. Henden fungerte ikke da vi var der, noe som er viktig når man har mye å drasse på. Frokosten var helt ok, med nok å velge i.

I stayed one night in your Hotel Marena in Andenes. Hotel Andrikken is the partner hotel. I contacted them via email - there was no response. I contacted them on Booking.com, yet no response. Their facilities were appalling. |||The reception was in a different hotel 5 blocks away. ||The WiFi password given was wrong. When I found the correct password it was not working. I tried phone call three times and two hours later I spoke to someone who said to check the WiFi but it never worked. This hotel is worse than a budget hotel but costs too much.

Zijn aan het verbouwen, lift out of order.|En dan slapen op de 3de vedieping, heel wat trappen lopen.|Geen restaurant, heb je pech er op zondag te zijn. Andere restaurants gesloten.|In de douche kan je je kont niet keren.|Ontbijt goed.
