A party of 12 of us booked 3 lodges and boat hire to experience the Norwegian Fjords and the to hopefully catch some of the big Halibut and Cod that the waters contain.|| The hosts collected us at Tromsø airport in a Mercedes Minibus towing a large trailer big enough to carry all luggage and the copious amounts of fishing tackle we all brought with us. Arriving the fishing camp and the views were spectacular, beginning of July and to see snow capped mountains was amazing. The lodges themselves are of wooden construction on 2 levels with a kitchen and dining room on the ground floor with 1 bedroom and a spacious bathroom with a fully enclosed sauna. The 1st floor had an additional 3 bedrooms and bathroom and also had a sofa and TV although that wasn’t really of interest to us due to spending all day at sea. The lodges were so warm that I did not need to use duvet for the entire week which I believe is down to either being very well||Insulated or underfloor heating. Overall the lodges themselves are a fantastic base for not only us fisherman but also to explorers / hikers that I imaging flock to the area to experience the stunning scenery. || On our first day, Marit’s husband briefed us on the boats and the little intricacies of using them. There were detailed maps on board with defined areas highlighting places to fish, VHF radio should you get in to trouble and a Lowrance HDS 7 chart plotter and sonar and 4 floatation vests although these were not needed as we are experienced sea anglers and have our own. The Fishing it self exceeded my expectations and although I didn’t catch the fabled Halibut, I caught an 8.7 kg (19lb) Monkfish which was a first for me and safely released back into the depths, numerous Cod to 6.5kg (14lb), Coalfish, Haddock, Cusk and a solitary Dab.|| On the last night Marit, who runs / owns the camp, cooked us a superb meal of Reindeer and salted and boiled pork with accompanying vegetables, I have never eaten pork this way or Reindeer and although it took me a while to get used to eating Rudolph and his compatriots, I have to say it was bloody delicious, so so tender and not at all like the venison I though it would be like. Marit and her member of staff were so friendly and certainly know how to cook delicious food. In fact every body at the camp, from Marit and her husband, the young lady that helped in the restaurant and a guide that a took 4 of the others out were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be rebooking to comeback in future and if anybody else fancies a trip to Norway for the Fishing, or even just site seeing, give the Marit and husbands Camp some serious though, you won’t regret it.

Alles in allem eine in die Jahre gekommene Anlage. |Auf den ersten Blick gepflegt,|Aber das täuscht! |Mal abgesehen von der rudimentären Ausstattung Ist so ziemlich alles irgendwie nicht in Ordnung. Sauna geht nicht. Whirlpool nicht im Betrieb, Betten furchtbar. Rollos, Licht, Türen, Fenster, Gefrierschrank funktionieren nicht richtig. |Ein großes, ein kleines Handtuch für zehn Tage! Gestank im Bad weil wohl die Entlüftung der Kanalisation im Bad endet. |All das erträgt ein Angler, wenn dann nicht die Boote im desolaten Zustand wären. Klapperkisten mit gehörigem Wartungsstau. Defekte Batterie, Zündschloss, Beleuchtung, Lenzpumpe, Scheibenwischer, Rutenhalter Bordwerkzeug, Schwimmwesten und so weiter. Das Unterwasserschiff glänzt mit ordentlichen Bewuchs, so dass eine akzeptable Gleitfahrt fast nicht möglich ist. Und natürlich geht keine Trimmklappe. Ich kann mich über die anderen Bewertungen nur wundern.

小木屋地處安靜，前面有海，後傍有山，自然環境非常好
小木屋有4個房間，同時有一件桑拿間，天氣冷很適合做。老闆跟老闆娘都很親切，對於小木屋的設備介紹很詳盡
在小木屋的地點就可以看到極光！旁邊的碼頭是極佳觀賞點，雖然天氣寒冷，還是一直不斷的想拍攝極光。
2月底來訪，從道路往小木屋的道路上會結冰，開車要特別留意打滑

The hosts are very friendly and they are so nice. Cabins are built next to the sea and we can walk outside the cabin and enjoy the views. During our stay the weather was not good and not much activities we can do. But I am sure it's a good place for the northern light, and no need to book any tour for that, you can see directy from the balcony. It is a very relaxing place for someone who want to relex and chill with friends. Also I think is a good place for summer as well.

Luogo bucolico se si vuole passare una settimana fuori dal mondo e vedere le aurore borreali. Appartamenti carini in legno senza pretese forse le cose più spartane le stanze anche senza armadi. Cucina accessoriata di tutto compreso lavastoviglie e bella la sauna di ogni appartamento. Possibilità di idromassaggio esterno da prenotare così come è possibile prenotare le ciaspole. Padroni molto disponibili. Diciamo che se si arriva sino in questo posto l'obiettivo non è chiudersi in casa ma visitare questi luoghi lontani da tutto. Settimana intensa e riposante peccato il tempo non ha aiutato.

We stayed here as part of a trip organised by Guide Gunnar. The owners were away for winter holidays, but Eddie and his team looked after us very well.||I think we might have been the only guests!||||The food was hearty and tasty and great after busy days/nights out adventuring.||||The cabins were cosy, with great lounge and kitchenette. Warm quilts and comfortable beds. Free fast wifi ||||Best things - the views of the fjord on your doorstep. Cabin with sauna and hot tub! Crazy but brilliant thing to do when it's -10C and you've just done a morning of dogsledding.

The highlight of our Tromsø trip!! |We had a fantastic time in this beautiful wooden house surrounded by the magnificent beauty of nature, right at your doorstep. |It’s big, clean, brand new, with a well prepared kitchen, the staff is friendly and the location is just perfect for northern lights... We weren’t sure about staying here as we had to stick to a bus schedule or hire a car to get there, we end up renting a car, but no regrets! |We really enjoy the cabin & the little terrace outside, sitting with a cup of tea waiting for the lights to appear (it is a good idea to download an app to get a better idea of the possibilities - we used aurora forecast, the free version) and we were lucky enough to admire them two days in a row, they danced, they change colors, truly a show... I wish I could take more pictures but you get hypnotized... |Next morning we joined a fishing charter organized by them, we caught a small codfish and on the way back I found out that the sea front of the cabins, right under the boats was full of starfishes!!! Enjoy your stay!!!|

We stayed here for 3 nights during our stay in Norway with GuideGunnar.||Eddie and his wife and Kristoff! and one other lady took care of use while we where here, they cooked good foods and treats us like family, we enjoyed the comfort of the cabins, very spacey and clean, not to mention the great location! They were very helpful and accommodating, also you can sit here and wait for the Northern lights if the activity is good and the sky is dark and clear. They have boats for fishing during the summer too!||||||If I ended up going back to Norway I will definitely coming back to this place.||||regards to the good people of Hav go Fjell!
