The hype around this place is greatly deserved.
They have a huge selection of options and everything is fantastic. The food is fresh, warm and delicious.
The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. If you cannot choose - I'd recommend a traditional reindeer hot dog with jam, mustard and fried onions.
With working hours until 3-4am, you can definitely grab a snack after a long night out.

Un comptoir incontournable! Des hotdogs de Rennes bien gros pour les petites faims et les gourmands! Les menus sont traduits dans plein de langues et des le matin il y a la queue mais ça débite alors l'attente est très modérée, ça va vite! A déguster en visitant la ville!

It’s a great sausage for a very fair price. Convenient, tasty, and fast. The reindeer sausage with lingonberry jam and fried onions is delicious. I came back a second time to get one for a quick lunch. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s a very good hot dog for not too much, at extreme convenience.

Sono aperti fino a tardi (ma potrebbero aver finito alcuni tipi). Per pranzo c’è la coda, ma scorre veloce e ne vale la pena.
Abbiamo assaggiato numero: 2, 7, 10, 8.
Tutti conditi con cipolla croccante e salse varie.
Con la renna consigliata la marmellata che ti consigliano loro stessi!

This was our very first stop in our 17 day cruise through Norway and what a fun and tasty way to begin the journey. A friend of mine told me that I absolutely had to try the traditional Norwegian "pølse med lompe" which is a hot dog wrapped in a soft potato flatbread. I was really looking forward to it so I asked a local for a recommendation and without hesitation he pointed me to Trekroneren. He said to look for the place with the longest line and he was definitely right.

The stand was busy with both locals and tourists and had a great energy around it. Unfortunately the traditional hot dog I was hoping for was not available when I visited but the woman working there was very kind and recommended the reindeer hot dog instead. I decided to try it and it was delicious. Mine came topped with fresh chopped onions fried onions and a sweet lingonberry sauce which added a really nice contrast to the smoky rich flavor of the sausage.

Both of my kids had the regular hot dog with ketchup and they both finished every bite which is always a good sign when traveling with young children. My husband ordered the bacon and cheese hot dog and he really enjoyed it as well. The toppings were generous and everything was fresh and flavorful.

The service was friendly and helpful and even with a steady line of customers the staff took time to answer questions and offer suggestions. It felt like a very welcoming spot and the food definitely lived up to the recommendations.

We are so glad we stopped here and would definitely return. A perfect quick bite that gives you a little taste of Norway right in the heart of Bergen.

Wir hatten die Käsewurst und die Rentierwurst und beide waren sehr lecker - aber auch relativ groß.

Das Menü ist unter anderen auf Spanisch, Englisch, Deutsch und Japanisch ausgeschildert - dementsprechend ist es auch für Touristen perfekt. Der Service ist sehr gut organisiert und dementsprechend schnell.

We had seen reviews of this iconic sausage stand on you tube and online and wanted to give it a try. We asked for the best seller and we got the reindeer sausage with berries,fried onions, mustard and ketchup. It was delicious. The service was super friendly and there was only a very short wait when we were there( 11.30am). It would have been nice if there had been an awning to stand under to protect us from the rain. We ended up standing outside the convenience store across the street. This is a definite must try when you are in Bergen. Enjoy!!

Tge restaurant serve different kind of sausages. I noticed in the previous days that there were lines in front of the restaurant, the staff have a nice and supportive character to serve food, the employee explained to me that there are several different types of sausages, including reindeer meat sausage and the other lamb meat sausage as well as sausage pork. The employee advised me to try reindeer meat sausage by adding berry sauce and mustard sauce with ketchup with caramelized onions, and it was a very unique and delicious experience. The prices are very suitable for the experience. I highly recommend trying the place because it was very special.
