For et nydelig sted. Vi hadde leilighet på brygga, tipp topp, her var alt på stell. Alt man trengte for å ordne egen mat, det var nytt, rent og for en utsikt. I tillegg var det sentralt, alt i gangavstand. Anbefaler stedet. Bedre enn dette går det ikke an å bo i Aurland.

very beautiful scenery. cozy room equipped with kitchen. however no tv that fine came her not watching tv but watch the mountains and lake. please bring swimming suits if you wish to swim at the lake. there floating sauna provide at the lake site however is not free and need to hook in advance in order to used the facilities but swimming at the lake is free but expecting 365 with very cool’s waters. if i had a change to return back here again i definitely will book this place again. i love this place.

The apartment was incredibly clean and well-maintained, with a breathtaking view. The location couldn’t be better – just steps away from the sauna, supermarket, and the port for a fjord cruise. The heating system worked perfectly, which was much appreciated in the winter. The kitchen is very well-equipped, making it easy to cook your own meals. Just a heads-up – in winter, there are no restaurants around, so make sure to do your grocery shopping in advance! Highly recommend!

This rental is nice decorated. Has decent amenities. The view is great, however if you are on the first floor expect people to constantly walk past your window. Zero privacy. So we couldn’t enjoy the view at all. Shortly after arriving I contacted reception about possibly changing rooms, she had zero empathy. Not hospitable at all. Honestly ruined the experience for us. Also, We could hear the guest above us constantly stomping around. Our room was across from the floating sauna, so the other guests were always in front of our rental. We had to keep the blind closed to keep people from peering in. Maybe we would have had a better experience if we were on a higher floor, further from the floating sauna. Really unfortunate the rental staff wasn’t very pleasant, would have changed our experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this place although there are a few things to consider when booking.

For one Aurland is at times very busy with tourists. There is also a ferry/boat stopping just outside the property. Hence the location of the apartment block can be compromised depending on the time of year and day. We stayed late September and it wasn't that busy but I can see this becoming annoying when people constantly walk past your window.
We stayed on the ground floor with people waling past on the same level. Not grant but we were lucky as it wasn't that busy.

Bedroom sadly had very little shelving space and featured a window with only a blackout curtain ( a must in summer) but no privacy screen. Hence, one either closes off the entire window or was on full display. Some sort of defusing window blind would help.

We didn't enjoy though when our doorbell kept on ringing but no body was there. Either some kids being kids or the bell being triggered by some very intrusive building sight with diggers running passed 20:00 right next to us.

The facilities and comfort of the place was excellent although it would have been nice to have covers for the foldout sofa. At that price I was also expecting more space in the bedroom. The Kitchen was well stocked. Sadly no freezer just a fridge though.
The breakfast we got on our door step was very nice.

Also, unfortunately the internet was down while we were there but one isn't there to look at a screen but instead take in the view if lucky with the weather.

The staff on site as we arrived was nice but couldn't help with the internet but instead sent (ironically) an email around notifying tenants about the down time.
Next day the office wasn't occupied but there was a note with contact details to the main office in Flam.

Again, we were lucky with the weather while not too many tourists spoiled our views and comfort. Unfortunately though, this is not something one can plan and therefore your milage might vary in terms of luck. Hence, we found the place at €350/night not great value for many but just okayish.

This was my favourite place in our little tour of Norway. What a fab location. The apartment was absolutely immaculate and the view oh my what a place.... ideally situated near the spar and the gastro pub... which does fantastic pizzas by the way... just heaven. The staff who ran the apartment where excellent and very helpful.
