Abbiamo partecipato a un’escursione con Whale2Sea Andenes - Whale and Bird Watching (ex Sea Safari Andenes) in una giornata davvero difficile, con mare molto mosso e onde alte. È stata un’avventura intensa e, per certi versi, estrema — ho rischiato di sentirmi male!
Consiglio vivamente di prendere una pastiglia contro la nausea, non mangiare prima e non bere nulla, altrimenti sarà dura. Se il tempo è brutto, lascia tutto a terra: ti bagni completamente, anche l’intimo! Le onde arrivano dappertutto.
I gommoni sono ben attrezzati con poltroncine singole e roll bar per tenersi, ma fai molta attenzione alla schiena: devi ammortizzare i colpi con le gambe durante i salti sulle onde, altrimenti rischi di farti male.
Detto questo, il team è super professionale e ci si può fidare ciecamente del capitano: sono persone esperte, abituate a queste condizioni. Siamo stati fortunati ad avvistare un capodoglio maschio, un momento davvero emozionante.
Il costo è alto, ma ti forniscono una tuta galleggiante (scomoda ma efficace).
Esperienza autentica e adrenalinica, da provare assolutamente se vuoi sentire il vero spirito dell’Artico... e hai lo stomaco (e la schiena) per reggerla! 🌊🐋

Esperienza bellissima in cerca delle balene nel mare di Norvegia. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di incontrare delle curiose pilot whales, che sono state intorno al nostro rib per un'ora abbondante. La nostra guida Nicole è stata bravissima e preparatissima, sempre sorridente e ci ha fornito moltissime informazioni. Copritevi bene perché in mare l'aria tira gelida.

Unbeschreiblich toll!
Wir haben Pottwale und Orcas gesehen.
Es ist sehr informativ und spannend, so viel über Wale während der Tour zu erfahren.
Im Anschluss kann man das Walmuseum besuchen, was ebenfalls sehr informativ ist.
Falls ihr schnell seekrank werdet, nehmt vorher eine Tablette😅 es schaukelt sehr aber für das Erlebnis nimmt man es gerne in Kauf!

Because of the determination of our guide and captain we were so lucky to see pilot whales, killer whales and cherry on top, a beautiful sperm whale just before his dive!

We did the whale tour on the historical Reine boat. Saw two sperm whales!

The trip was amazing, the hosts were very nice, helpful and specially enthusiastic about the whales. In every action you can see that these people also do the research and appreciate the animals: it's not your everyday tourist location, but an ethical hybrid between tours and science.

We talked a lot with our German host Christina, cheers from Finland if you happen to see this! We loved her insights on the subject and also about living in the area.

Since these are wild animals, there is of cource no guarantee that you see them every time you go. With this in mind, we were very lucky today and made unforgettable memories!

An amazing experience! We saw both orcas and sperm whales. The tour was very professionally organized, and our guide Jade was incredibly enthusiastic — easily the most passionate person you could hope for on a trip like this. She knew everything about whales and was happy to answer all our questions.

The duration of the tour was just right, and we were provided with warm, professional suits that made the whole experience much more comfortable. Highly recommended!
